Krzysztof Jarosiński for over 10 years has been providing consulting services within legal aspects of IT projects and new technologies as well as projects regarding implementation of software and IT systems, representing both ordering parties and contractors. He drafts and prepares opinions on implementation agreements executed in the waterfall and agile methodologies, license agreements, maintenance and development agreements, and Service Level Agreements (SLA), as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) or Application Service Provisioning (ASP) agreements.

 

He supports clients from the advertising and e-commerce sectors in the drafting of agreements, terms and conditions, and privacy policies. He conducts legal audits of entities that run internet portals or other innovative projects, especially within investment agreements. He drafts, prepares opinions on, and negotiates such investment agreements. He provides consulting services on advertising law and represents clients in disputes regarding internet domain names.  

 

He deals with the broadly understood intellectual property law, including copyright law, trademark and industrial design protection rights, issues regarding development and protection of databases, and legal protection of research results. He has registered hundreds of trademarks and industrial patterns in patent offices of many counties.  

 

He has experience in data protection projects, including implementation of documentation as well as data protection and confidential information policies, in particular drafting and preparing opinions on the required GDPR documentation as well as running training courses, conducting audits, and implementations of ISO 27001 norm.  

 

Krzysztof Jarosiński provides consulting services to start-ups on corporate law, within setting up and running of commercial law companies, relations among partners, and implementation of investment projects including the transfer of new technologies. 

 

He also has experience in terms of the labor law on the employers’ part, including drafting and issuing opinions on work and remuneration regulations, remote work regulations, home office, and employment contracts.  

 

For many years he has been providing consulting services to non-governmental organizations regarding social aid and broadly understood crowdfunding as well as Anti-Money Laundering (AML). He has been and still is a member of supervisory boards of foundations (e.g. he is a former, long-term Supervisory Board Member of Siepomaga Foundation and a current Supervisory Board Member of Otwieramy Kulturę i Sztukę Foundation).  

 

Krzysztof Jarosiński graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also completed post-graduate accounting and finance studies at the Department of Accounting at the Poznań University of Economics and Business and the accounting expert professional course held by the Accountants Association in Poland, the regional branch in Poznań. 

 

He has the certificate of the Lead Auditor of Information Security Management System ISO/IEC 27001:2017 issued by DEKRA Certification.  

 

He regularly appears as a speaker during training course and meetings of the IT and e-commerce sectors and he was a lecturer at the Poznań University of Social Sciences, the Poznań University of Life Sciences, and the Poznań University of Economics and Business, where he conducted courses for students on intellectual property law. 

 

He is also a member of the Association of Data Protection Practitioners. 

 

Representative experience:  

  • Siepomaga Foundation, the biggest crowdfunding platform in Poland, HOPPECKE Baterie Polska, a daughter company of one of the world’s leaders on the industrial battery market, Dobrymechanik.pl, a company that runs one of the biggest aftermarket portals in Poland, other entities from the IT sector and entities that run internet portals – acting as a data protection officer (DPO). 
  • Dobrymechanik.pl sp. z o.o., Filmpoint sp. z o.o., Ifinity sp. z o.o., Humanway sp. z o.o. – support and consulting on negotiations of the terms of investment agreements (investments in new technologies) in which the amount of funding exceeded PLN 1 million and the biggest investment amounted to more than PLN 3 million. 
  • App Trend sp. z o.o., Grey Wizard sp. z o.o., Elektrobudowa S.A., Lizard Media – drafting and issuing opinions on the agreements regarding implementations of IT systems, including ERP systems whose value exceeded PLN 1 million. The value of the most expensive IT system procurement amounted to more than PLN 2 million. 
  • Netguru sp. z o.o., International Trademark sp. z o.o. S.K.A., CHIC sp. z o.o. sp.k., eSmoking Institute sp. z o.o.  – representation before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the General Court in a few dozen cases regarding registration of EU trademarks and community designs. 
  • Akrostal sp. z o.o. – representation and consulting in three victorious arbitration proceedings: 
    • before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in a dispute regarding akrostal.com domain name, case no. D2013-1254; 
    • before the ADR.eu, in a dispute regarding akrostal.eu domain name, case no. 06531; 
    • before the Court of Arbitration for the Internet Domain Names at the Polish Chamber of  Information Technology and Telecommunications, in a dispute regarding akrostal.com.pl domain name, case no. 36/13/PA).
