Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

NGOs that work for the benefit of the general public are an important element of contemporary societies. Foundations and associations perform social tasks within which the state can be inefficient – for various reasons. These entities live off subsidies, donations, and contributions to a large extent and they are subject to special regimes of legal and financial liability.
